In the darkness.

As bitter bile splashes up against the back of my throat, dread creeps into my soul.

Who is this man in black?

What does he want from me?

And how does he know everywhere I’m going to be before I do?

Does he know my secret?

He can’t.

No one does.

I’ve hidden my family legacy from everyone.

Why won’t he go away?

If he doesn’t, I’ll be trapped here at work, and I don’t get paid enough to deal with these wackos.

Sigh. Not even the police will help.
