Point of Interest #1: Misty Brook’s Victorian Library
Built long ago, destroyed, and then rebuilt, the Victorian Library is the heart of Misty Brook. Not only is the library frequented by students from the local college, but winged men of stone have been known to perch atop the roof.
It’s a wondrous sight you have to see for yourself. And sometimes you’ll swear you see them move. Don’t blink or you’ll miss it.
Point of Interest #2: The Beautiful Fountain
Surrounded by divine red heirloom roses, the sturdy basin always contains flowing water that swirls… no matter the season.
Legend says the fountain is actually a portal to another plane of existence. This new realm, named the dream realm, is said to sit next to our mortal one.
Are you brave enough to explore the portal and visit the dream realm?
Point of Interest #3: Opal’s Cozy Bookshop
Walking through the door of her bookshop, don’t be surprised if the owner herself greets you with a cup of tea already in hand.
With the fragrance of piping hot tea mixing with the earthy smell of yellowing pages from old books wafting past your nose, Opal will likely engage you in hearty conversation. Then, she’ll guide you to exactly what you’re looking for, even if you don’t know it yourself.
And if you’re lucky, you just might spot her sweet calico kitty named Lucky!
Anywho, make sure you have time to spend. The visit won’t be a short one.
Point of Interest #4: The Secret Underground Government Facility
If you want to tour this secret government site, you’ll need a guide. Why? Because only a few citizens of Misty Brook know its whereabouts.
Previously used to interrogate the paranormal creatures of the realms beyond this one, it once held the most notorious of all gargoyles.
Point of Interest #5: Stargazing
As you walk the streets of Misty Brook, keep an eye on the sky, especially as dusk approaches and ushers in the night.
Not only will you see twinkling stars winking at you, but you may catch a breathtaking glimpse of… no, it’s not a bird, it’s a gargoyle soaring high.
Point of Interest #6: Wide Open Spaces
If you enjoy spending time outdoors, then check out the perfect picnic spot a few miles out from town, beside the babbling brook that connects with the beautiful fountain in front of the Victorian library.
Sit back, take a deep breath, and delight in sights that you can only see when you visit the magical town of Misty Brook.
